Samo Želínsky was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. F.C. Santos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Aversano in the 6th minute of play forced Pietra La Croce's goalkeeper Fabio Bulla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Almose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fabio Bulla made a huge save. Fabio Bulla was a little too slow when Samo Želínsky got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Aversano in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Bulla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alfredo Aversano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Almose who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Bulla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eugenio Monaco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Fabio Bulla made a huge save. Fabio Bulla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samo Želínsky in the 27th minute of play. If Roger Almose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 33 in the game by Cristoforo Pasinati from a close distance when the talented Fabio Bulla managed to make a qualified save. Pietra La Croce's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Pietra La Croce's zone, Samo Želínsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Bulla came out of the goal and Samo Želínsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, F.C. Santos's Roger Almose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Bulla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alfredo Aversano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44th play minutes Roger Almose shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Fabio Bulla and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Forte to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Aversano in the 53rd minute of play forced Pietra La Croce's goalkeeper Fabio Bulla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When F.C. Fabio Bulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Almose, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Roger Almose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pietra La Croce's Fabio Bulla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Roger Almose put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Bulla. Roger Almose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Bulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samo Želínsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beppe Muzi in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Bulla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Bulla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beppe Muzi's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the F.C. Santos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
