The referee ignored Novedrate's protests and gave Alex Di Monte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Novedrate's Alex Di Monte got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 42nd minute, Enzo Costantino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Novedrate's goalkeeper Amerigo Ranalli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Novedrate defense, Carlo Angelici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amerigo Ranalli. The Novedrate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amerigo Ranalli should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Piccinini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Puce in the 53rd minute of play forced Novedrate's goalkeeper Amerigo Ranalli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Angelici in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Ranalli saved Novedrate from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Carlo Angelici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Ranalli was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, Andrea Iannucci notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Novedrate's Amerigo Ranalli. Amerigo Ranalli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amerigo Ranalli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Angelici in the 80th minute of play. Alex Di Monte got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Enzo Costantino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amerigo Ranalli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Angelici's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Novedrate's Amerigo Ranalli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Angelici in the 87th minute of play. Emiliano Piccinini hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Amerigo Ranalli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Costantino in the 96th minute of the match. Fantasina FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
