The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ermanno Cerasoli made the kick off which started today's match. Ermanno Cerasoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Saraceni having to interfere. When team Ginosa's Emiliano Arpaia in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ASD Casalvecchio's goalie prevented a goal. Claudio Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Claudio Canzano did an outstanding performance 12 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Adriano Piscopo in the goal. Emiliano Arpaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Armando Saraceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Saraceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Arpaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Saraceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Cerasoli in the 21st minute of play. If Ermanno Cerasoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Claudio Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The team Ginosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Armando Saraceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Cerasoli in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Claudio Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Saraceni was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Emiliano Arpaia might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Saraceni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Arpaia ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Guerra couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Ermanno Cerasoli made a precise shot to the right of Armando Saraceni. ASD Casalvecchio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, ASD Casalvecchio's Arturo Orecchioni got a free kick in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, ASD Casalvecchio's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Arpaia came free, but Armando Saraceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Frank Pietrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASD Casalvecchio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave team Ginosa the free kick. Frank Pietrini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Casalvecchio's zone, Claudio Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Saraceni came out of the goal and Claudio Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over team Ginosa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ASD Casalvecchio throughout the match.
