Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciro Tullio started the match with the kick off. Donato Falone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Kahofer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Falone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Kahofer in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Napoli 26ers booed when Pioppa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmine Vitucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Napoli 26ers's Antonio Volponi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Napoli 26ers's Rafal Rozanski in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pioppa FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Pioppa FC booed when Napoli 26ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo De Paolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Napoli 26ers's goalkeeper Antonio Goffredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesare Evani. After having played for 30 minutes, Ivan Kahofer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoli 26ers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Kahofer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Pioppa FC's Ciro Tullio made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Goffredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Napoli 26ers's Rafal Rozanski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Falone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Pioppa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Napoli 26ers were winning 2-4.

Napoli 26ers's Ivan Kahofer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafal Rozanskis short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Donato Falone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafal Rozanski came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Donato Falone could save by the left post. Antonio Goffredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Pugliese in the 71st minute of the match. With a little luck, Pioppa FC's Donato Falone got control of the ball when Rafal Rozanski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Napoli 26ers's Antonio Goffredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Laudadio in the 78th minute of play. Donato Falone made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Rafal Rozanski sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Rafal Rozanski in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Antonio Goffredo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Pioppa FC's Frank Pugliese. But to his dismay, Frank Pugliese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 89th match minute, Pioppa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Laudadio to maneuver through the defense. Napoli 26ers's Rafal Rozanski came free and shot a quick shot against goal 92 minutes in the game, fortunately Donato Falone had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Donato Falone was a little too slow when Ivan Kahofer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 3-5. Napoli 26ers played a much better game than Pioppa FC and deserved their victory. The Pioppa FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
