Arrigo Tozzi scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Adriano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Dave Caruso took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dave Di Vito to make any attempt to save it. In the 19thth minute of the game Arrigo Tozzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graveglia's Federico Adriano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Lucino FC's corner Alex Danza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Adriano quite easily take care of the ball. Arrigo Tozzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Adriano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Tozzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Federico Adriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Cirulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Arturo Cirulli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lucino FC and the Graveglia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Lucino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Cirulli to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Mercuri in the 44th minute of play forced Graveglia's goalkeeper Federico Adriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberigo Di Sante during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessio Martano was the one to do the kick off. Federico Adriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Mercuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lucino FC's zone, Alessio Martano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Di Vito came out of the goal and Alessio Martano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, Alessio Martano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dave Di Vito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alessio Martano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Di Vito having to make a save. Lucino FC's Dave Di Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Colonna in the 68th minute of play. Federico Adriano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Tozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado De Iuliis lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Graveglia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Diego Colonna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
