The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Davide Sciarretta hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Enrico Puglielli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ennio De Filippo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Tiberio. Caslino Al Piano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adriano Trivelli charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Trivelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caslino Al Piano FC booed when Campo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Trivelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Davide Sciarretta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciccio Lucantoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fabrizio Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Santo to make the kick off. Caslino Al Piano FC's Franco Tiberio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Caslino Al Piano FC from getting a goal against them. If Antonello Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Caslino Al Piano FC's goalkeeper Franco Tiberio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonello Scrima. In the 64th minute, Campo's Ennio De Filippo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ennio De Filippo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Campo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ennio De Filippo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 72nd minute, Cosimo Santo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caslino Al Piano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Fabrizio Bertolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Lucantoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Adriano Trivelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciccio Lucantoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Bertolini having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Ciccio Lucantoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campo's Fabrizio Bertolini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Antonello Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
