Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) San Lucia's Ferruccio Ottaviani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, San Lucia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pierre Dewhirst fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, San Lucia's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Dewhirst came free, but Bernardo Egger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Fabio Moretta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Gargano skillfully saved the ball. After 18 minutes of play, San Lucia's Bianco Giansante made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amos Gargano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amos Gargano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Ottaviani in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Pierre Dewhirst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bernardo Egger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bianco Giansante came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the San Lucia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bianco Giansante couldn't finish the play. Ferruccio Ottaviani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre Dewhirst was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Francesco Carota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciak 37's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lucia the free kick. The supporters of San Lucia booed when Ciak 37 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Carota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Ottaviani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Amos Gargano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match Fabio Moretta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amos Gargano skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ciak 37 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bernardo Manna hit a great ball. Pierre Dewhirst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Egger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Pierre Dewhirst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. San Lucia's Bernardo Egger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Dewhirst in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Ciak 37 got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Carota. When Ferruccio Ottaviani came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the San Lucia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Ottaviani couldn't finish the play. Ciak 37's Pierre Dewhirst got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pierre Dewhirst took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Egger. Bernardo Egger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ciak 37's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
