The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Arrigo Capuozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Di Marzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alfredo Tocci came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Casal Palocco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Tocci couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Di Paolo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Cantagallo got free with Florian Di Marzio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alfredo Tocci came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Casal Palocco AFC fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of MARIACHI booed when Casal Palocco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Taraborrelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. MARIACHI's Alessandro Cantagallo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alessandro Cristofari fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casal Palocco AFC's protests and gave Alessandro Cristofari a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the game, one of Casal Palocco AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, MARIACHI's Flavio Apolloni got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Florian Di Marzio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Tocci to make the kick off. A collision led to Casal Palocco AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Angelo Taraborrelli hit a great ball. Alfredo Tocci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Corrado De Rubeis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Casal Palocco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Taraborrelli. Florian Di Marzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arrigo Capuozzi in the 77th minute of the match. Alfredo Tocci kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Florian Di Marzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Cantagallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Florian Di Marzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Cantagallo in the 84th minute of play. MARIACHI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
