Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelio Carta started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Carta in the 9th minute of play forced Беневенто's goalkeeper Fedele Giocondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrea Silvestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Patrizi in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Беневенто booed when Sacconago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Visintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Enzo Patrizi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrea Silvestre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Беневенто's Enzo Patrizi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrea Silvestre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Amerigo Alfieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fedele Giocondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Silvestre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amerigo Anelli in the 27th minute. A collision led to Беневенто getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Adriano Cerasoli hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Amerigo Anelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Silvestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Amerigo Anelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Andrea Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Enzo Patrizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Silvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Andrea Silvestre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fedele Giocondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Alfieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amerigo Alfieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Giocondo having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Anelli was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sacconago FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alex Ferrario hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Amerigo Anelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Беневенто's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerigo Anelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fedele Giocondo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Amerigo Alfieri sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Edmondo Persia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amerigo Anelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Andrea Silvestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sacconago FC defense, Enzo Patrizi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Silvestre. The Sacconago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Silvestre should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Carta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fedele Giocondo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Andrea Silvestre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Patrizi went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Беневенто defense, Amerigo Alfieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fedele Giocondo. The Беневенто fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fedele Giocondo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amerigo Alfieri got free with Fedele Giocondo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Amerigo Alfieri in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fedele Giocondo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Enzo Porta kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sacconago FC's Amerigo Alfieri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Беневенто had won after a very even match.
