After 30 played minutes, RB Udine's Augusto Massimini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristoforo Pallini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RB Udine reached it. Ciro De Carolis took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Tarquini. Damiano Tarquini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Diego Armando kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Augusto Massimini made the kick off in the second half. Damiano Tarquini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Ciro De Carolis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Tarquini. RB Udine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro De Carolis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Diego Armando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 65th match minute, Neuquen Social Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Armando to maneuver through the defense. RB Udine's Damiano Tarquini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro De Carolis in the 71st minute of play. Lucas Galera's late challenge caught a RB Udine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Galera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RB Udine booed when Neuquen Social Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Galera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Fulvio Di Mario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Pallini skillfully saved the ball. In the 86th minute, Edmondo Fortunato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damiano Tarquini was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 93 minutes into the game, Alfonso Petroni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neuquen Social Club 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Udine the free kick. Damiano Tarquini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Fortunato in the 97th minute of play.
