The tension between the Ganjester City and the Colonica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Ganjester City got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Sisti. Alfredo Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bruno Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Forlani struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Bruno Cannavacciuolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonica FC. Bruno Cannavacciuolo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Colonica FC's Cristoforo Forlani. But to his dismay, Cristoforo Forlani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Bruno De Grandis fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ganjester City's protests and gave Bruno De Grandis a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Colonica FC's zone, Ettore Madonna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felice Palmieri came out of the goal and Ettore Madonna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristoforo Forlani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bruno Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felice Palmieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Madonna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Cannavacciuolo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Michelini's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Felice Palmieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Madonna in the 34th minute of the match. Bruno De Grandis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Palmieri having to interfere. The supporters of Ganjester City booed when Colonica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Del Duca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colonica FC's Alfredo Michelini suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 40 minutes into the game, Edoardo Arpaia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ganjester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colonica FC the free kick. In the 39th minute, one of Ganjester City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ganjester City. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore Madonna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felice Palmieri. That made the score 2-2 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Madonna was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Alfonso Gismondi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Forlani in the 53rd minute of play forced Ganjester City's goalkeeper Bruno Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 played minutes Ganjester City got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Sisti. If Bruno De Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Del Duca hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Felice Palmieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Madonna in the 65th minute of the match. Felice Palmieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno De Grandis in the 69th minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Cristoforo Forlani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ganjester City's Bruno Cannavacciuolo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bruno De Grandis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ganjester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno De Grandis couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Colonica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno De Grandis came free, but Felice Palmieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fortunato Maldini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Palmieri having to interfere. Colonica FC's Felice Palmieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno De Grandis in the 99th minute of play. The Colonica FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colonica FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
