The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferruccio Panino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cannavacciuolo having to interfere. Bernardo Sisti hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Ganjester City's Ettore Madonna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ferruccio Panino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bruno Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Bondi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bruno Cannavacciuolo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Prepo. A.C. Prepo's Cesare Bondi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ferruccio Panino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Alessandro Belardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes A.C. Prepo got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Verdecchia. Federico Marziali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Madonna in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in A.C. Prepo's zone, Bernardo Sisti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Marziali came out of the goal and Bernardo Sisti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, A.C. Prepo's Augusto Verdecchia got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Cesare Rulli sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A.C. Prepo's Federico Marziali didn't even have to move. A.C. Prepo's Federico Marziali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Madonna in the 67th minute of play. Bruno De Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Federico Marziali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Marziali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Madonna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ganjester City's Bruno Cannavacciuolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Bondi in the 80th minute of play. A.C. Prepo's Federico Marziali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno De Grandis in the 81st minute of play. Bruno De Grandis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Marziali having to interfere. Federico Marziali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ettore Madonna's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ganjester City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A.C. Prepo for a fine match.
