Codemondo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfonso Boccanera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carmine Sanna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cristoforo Rosato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Aurelio Bonsignore notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valle Soana Football Club's Emiliano Ciolli. Emiliano Ciolli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the game, Carmine Sanna lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Cristoforo Rosato. Emiliano Ciolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Bonsignore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codemondo AFC's Cristoforo Rosato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Sanna in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valle Soana Football Club's Flavio Venditti got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Valle Soana Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Bonsignore came free, but Emiliano Ciolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Bonsignore took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Ciolli. Emiliano Ciolli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Emiliano Ciolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Bonsignore, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Valle Soana Football Club's Emiliano Ciolli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Bonsignore in the 40th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Carlo Madonna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Soana Football Club and the Codemondo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Aurelio Bonsignore came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Codemondo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Bonsignore couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Carmine Sanna made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Santoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Ciolli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Bonsignore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Ciolli was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 54 played minutes Valle Soana Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Guida. Carmine Sanna struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cristoforo Rosato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valle Soana Football Club. The supporters of Valle Soana Football Club booed when Codemondo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Ruggeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codemondo AFC's Cristoforo Rosato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Sanna in the 63rd minute of play. Emiliano Santoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emiliano Ciolli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Bonsignore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Carmine Sanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Rosato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Rosato came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Valle Soana Football Club's Flavio Venditti. But to his dismay, Flavio Venditti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Codemondo AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fabrizio Mazzone hit a great ball. If Carmine Sanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Valle Soana Football Club booed when Codemondo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Bonelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Venditti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Rosato having to interfere. Carmine Sanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Ciolli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Santoro in the 93rd minute.
