After a defensive mix-up in Aurelia FC's zone, Attilio Palone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Gori came out of the goal and Attilio Palone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cipolla booed when Aurelia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Lelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Palone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Aurelia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Sorge came free, but Donato Gori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aurelia FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aldo Ferraro hit a great ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurelia FC's goalkeeper Donato Gori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipolla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
