Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 50) An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubert Flyger in the 4th minute of play forced Cipolla's goalkeeper Emiliano Ciccarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cipolla's zone, Achille Di Florio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Ciccarelli came out of the goal and Achille Di Florio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Attilio Burgnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ciccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Volpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Palone in the 11th minute of play. Emiliano Ciccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubert Flyger in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rubert Flyger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Ciccarelli was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to Cipolla getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Felice Cristofari hit a great ball. Rubert Flyger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ciccarelli having to interfere. Emiliano Ciccarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubert Flyger in the 34th minute of play. If Achille Di Florio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubert Flyger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ciccarelli having to interfere. Emiliano Ciccarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubert Flyger, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Cipolla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quercioli were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Attilio Palone made a kick off. Felice Di Meo's late challenge caught a Quercioli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felice Di Meo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cipolla getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fortunato Sorge hit a great ball. Filippo Volpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attilio Palone went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cipolla's Felice Di Meo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Rubert Flyger dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emiliano Ciccarelli, 1-2. Rubert Flyger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ciccarelli having to interfere. Attilio Burgnich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filippo Volpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Palone in the 94th minute of the match. Emiliano Ciccarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubert Flyger's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Attilio Burgnich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cipolla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quercioli were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
