Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Cona AFC's Florin Codrea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A.S. Bari's Amos Di Placido got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dino Petruzzi charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Petruzzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, A.S. Bari's Dino Petruzzi got a free kick in the 11th minute. Cristiano Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Franceschini in the 12th minute of play. Cristiano Sergi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Proia in the 14th minute. Fabiano Proia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristiano Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Franceschini in the 26th minute of the match. Cristiano Sergi was a little too slow when Eugenio Franceschini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. Cristiano Sergi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Proia in the 32nd minute. When Alessio Gaeta fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S. Bari's protests and gave Alessio Gaeta a yellow card for diving instead. Alessio Gaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Fabiano Proia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Proia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Sergi having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cona AFC's Eugenio Franceschini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Sergi. That made the score 3-0 after 45 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Ballerini made a kick off. Fabiano Proia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Franceschini in the 59th minute of play forced A.S. Bari's goalkeeper Cristiano Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Proia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabiano Proia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, A.S. Bari's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Franceschini came free, but Cristiano Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes A.S. Bari got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Gaeta. Dino Petruzzi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Cona AFC's Fabiano Proia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Sergi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Sergi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Proia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Proia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Sergi having to interfere. If Eugenio Franceschini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Spiazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alessio Gaeta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute, Alessio Gaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Bari's goalkeeper Cristiano Sergi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristiano Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Franceschini in the 93rd minute of play. If Biagio Pensa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cona AFC had played much better football throughout.
