But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amos Di Natale couldn't finish the play. Carter Trotta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Mannucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Christian Ronconi fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crudi FC's protests and gave Christian Ronconi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, one of Crudi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crudi FC. The referee gave Figino Serenza a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eraldo Miranda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Crudi FC's Filippo Meazza. 1-1. The supporters of Crudi FC booed when Figino Serenza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Di Natale didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Emilio Di Meo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Figino Serenza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Crudi FC.
