Fabiano Gabriele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Milanese, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fabiano Anastasi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Concetto Colantoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for salento tiger. In the 77thth minute of the game Enzo Crognale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but salento tiger's Fabiano Gabriele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Fabiano Anastasi took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Concetto Colantoni to make any attempt to save it. In the 83rd minute Enzo Crognale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Gabriele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Visintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
