An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Montanari in the 11th minute of play forced Salzanese FC's goalkeeper Armin Martelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Domenico Antonioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Ahmet Danış Akoğul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pietra La Croce AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Danış Akoğul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armin Briganti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armin Martelli having to interfere. Alex Firmani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvar Skorrason read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Armin Briganti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Montanari in the 40th minute of play forced Salzanese FC's goalkeeper Armin Martelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Firmani was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Iob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Domenico Antonioni notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pietra La Croce AFC's Elvar Skorrason. Elvar Skorrason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salzanese FC's attentive Domenico Antonioni managed to snatch the ball when Armin Briganti made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Armin Martelli came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pietra La Croce AFC's Armin Briganti. But to his dismay, Armin Briganti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Eugenio Iob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Iob recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Pietra La Croce AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
