Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Tesone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edmondo Maestri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Pianodardine's goalkeeper Edmondo Maestri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Albertosi. Eugenio Lucentini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amos Pilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Mercuri having to interfere. Pianodardine's Amos Pilla got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Eugenio Lucentini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pianodardine's Edmondo Maestri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvise Mercuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Fulgenzi in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Calvari booed when Pianodardine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Tedeschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Novella hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Eugenio Lucentini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edmondo Maestri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Lucentini in the 39th minute of play forced Pianodardine's goalkeeper Edmondo Maestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pianodardine fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Franco Fulgenzi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Fulgenzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Pianodardine got a freekick which was hit by Franco Fulgenzi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Lucentini to strike the kick off in the second half. Anthony Tedeschi kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Eugenio Lucentini struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Edmondo Maestri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvari. Pianodardine's Edmondo Maestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Lucentini in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Calvari's goalkeeper Alvise Mercuri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amos Pilla. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Lucentini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmondo Maestri was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Amos Pilla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alvise Mercuri, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Pianodardine getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Anthony Tedeschi hit a great ball. Edmondo Maestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Lucentini in the 75th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Pianodardine's Alvise Mercuri threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franco Fulgenzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anthony Tedeschi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Tesone hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Alvise Mercuri was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fedele Rossetti. If Alfredo Albertosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anthony Tedeschi fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pianodardine's protests and gave Anthony Tedeschi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Pianodardine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Tedeschi to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, Calvari's Eugenio Lucentini made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmondo Maestri was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Albertosi in the 96th minute of play forced Pianodardine's goalkeeper Edmondo Maestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
