The Porrona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armin Sansoni should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Porrona's Bruno Luciano got a free kick in the 14th minute. Armin Sansoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Giorgio in the 17th minute of play. Porrona's Armin Sansoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Fulgenzi in the 19th minute of play. Diego Giorgio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Armin Sansoni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Porrona's Armin Sansoni got control of the ball when Diego Giorgio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Giorgios short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Armin Sansoni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adriano De Nardis's late challenge caught a Pianoro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano De Nardis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Porrona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano De Nardis to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Porrona's Bruno Luciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Madonna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Porrona's goalkeeper Armin Sansoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Giorgio. Aurelio Bernardini charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Bernardini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Pianoro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bernardini to maneuver through the defense. Armin Sansoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Porrona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Trinca to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pianoro FC booed when Porrona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano De Nardis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmondo Fulgenzi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Sansoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano De Nardis was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Adriano De Nardis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Diego Giorgio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armin Sansoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Fulgenzi in the 72nd minute of the match. Armin Sansoni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Fulgenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmondo Fulgenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armin Sansoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Armin Sansoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Giorgio's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Fausto Pozzo came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dave Madonna could save by the left post. Armin Sansoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Giorgio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmondo Fulgenzi in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armin Sansoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes of play, Pianoro FC's Edmondo Fulgenzi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armin Sansoni was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pianoro FC fully deserved thier win.
