Jaspar Engelboorgs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Ermanno Falasca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marko Kopyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Ermanno Falasca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Camiel Schellekens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermanno Falasca. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Alvaro Rosati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Camiel Schellekens put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ermanno Falasca. Francesco Camerlengo's late challenge caught a Chiappino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Camerlengo helped the player get up and apologised. If Alvaro Rosati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damiano Riso to make the kick off. Ciccio Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Leone, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marko Kopyl put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ermanno Falasca. In the 57th match minute, A.C.R. Messina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Visintin to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Rosati struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Messina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Bellone to maneuver through the defense. Messina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camiel Schellekens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chiappino FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alex Di Clemente hit a great ball. Jaspar Engelboorgs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Falasca having to interfere. Marko Kopyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Camiel Schellekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Leone's late challenge caught a A.C.R. Messina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Leone helped the player get up and apologised. After 94th play minutes Jaspar Engelboorgs shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Ermanno Falasca and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee ended the match the A.C.R. Messina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
