Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Carlo Mancini took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Augusto Terenzi to make any attempt to save it. Anfilogino Zara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Augusto Terenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Carlo Mancini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Terenzi. Carlo Mancini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Anfilogino Zara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Anfilogino Zara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Mestre's Augusto Terenzi got control of the ball when Anfilogino Zara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Carlo Mancini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Terenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Mancini in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Mestre's Augusto Terenzi got control of the ball when Anfilogino Zara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Russi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anfilogino Zara to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Anfilogino Zara hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Carlo Mancini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Terenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Zara in the 66th minute of the match. Anfilogino Zara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Augusto Terenzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlo Mancini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes Russi got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Furia. After having played for 81 minutes, Anfilogino Zara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Russi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Zara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Russi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Anfilogino Zara hit a great ball. Alex Fabiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlo Mancini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Terenzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Carlo Mancini came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Russi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Mancini couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, one of Mestre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mestre. Augusto Terenzi had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Corrado Faiella's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Russi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
