Bernardo Ranieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alberto Chelodi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Chelodi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by CAVESE GABRY 1999's Mattia Destro. But to his dismay, Mattia Destro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Ceranesi's Ettore Del Nero in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAVESE GABRY 1999's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Ceranesi's goalkeeper Alberto Chelodi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattia Destro. If Mattia Destro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Daniele Albani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Carmine Tieri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Chelodi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Alberto Chelodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattia Destro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mattia Destro made the kick off in the second half. Carmine Tieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Del Nero in the 52nd minute. Mattia Destro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Chelodi. Alberto Chelodi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Mattia Destro sped through Ceranesi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Chelodi. If Mattia Destro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Ciraci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Chelodi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattia Destro went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes, Edoardo Franceschini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceranesi and the CAVESE GABRY 1999 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Ceranesi got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Franceschini. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ceranesi's goalkeeper Alberto Chelodi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniele Albani during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Ceranesi's protests and gave Domenico Moreschi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Mattia Destro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CAVESE GABRY 1999 fully deserved thier win.
