The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelio Mariotti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Armin Saturno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Moreschi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Ucci having to interfere. When Portesine's Armin Saturno in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figline's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Cera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antonello Giordani came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Figline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Giordani couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Figline's Frank Cera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Basile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bianco Tartaglia fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figline's protests and gave Bianco Tartaglia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Bianco Tartaglia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Antonello Giordani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Portesine got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Vaiani. If Antonello Beattie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Giordani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Cera got free with Eugenio Basile in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Moreschi struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Amedeo Ucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portesine. Armin Saturno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Ucci having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Saturno to make the kick off. Amedeo Ucci was a little too slow when Demetrio Moreschi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Armin Saturno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amedeo Ucci, 1-2. Antonello Beattie hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Demetrio Moreschi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Amedeo Ucci skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amedeo Ucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demetrio Moreschi in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Figline's zone, Demetrio Moreschi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amedeo Ucci came out of the goal and Demetrio Moreschi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Moreschi got free with Amedeo Ucci in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Moreschi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amedeo Ucci having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Portesine's Armin Saturno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amedeo Ucci. Amedeo Ucci yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Portesine had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
