Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Silvestre started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Portofino AFC's Ferdinando Giampieri got control of the ball when Ciro Manna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portofino AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Giampieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Cristiano Silvestre made a precise shot to the right of Alberigo Iacovella. Vaneze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Portofino AFC's Cristiano Silvestre in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaneze's goalie prevented a goal. Alberigo Iacovella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Peter in the 18th minute of the match. 1-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Amos Di Tommaso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Antonio Soccio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portofino AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Soccio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portofino AFC's zone, Ciccio Atroce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Giampieri came out of the goal and Ciccio Atroce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Portofino AFC's Ippolit Evdokimov got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Verna in the 35th minute of play forced Portofino AFC's goalkeeper Ferdinando Giampieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Bertini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberigo Iacovella. Vaneze's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Vaneze getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alessandro Verna hit a great ball. Emanuele Malinconico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Iacovella having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Portofino AFC's Aurelio Rallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enrico De Nardis, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Vaneze's Alberigo Iacovella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Silvestre in the 58th minute of play. Vaneze's Alberigo Iacovella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Vaneze from getting a goal against them. Ferdinando Giampieri came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vaneze's Ciccio Atroce. But to his dismay, Ciccio Atroce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Portofino AFC's Ferdinando Giampieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Di Tommaso in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Vaneze's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Silvestre came free, but Alberigo Iacovella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico De Nardis made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alessandro Verna immediately put the ball in play. In the 72nd minute Amos Di Tommaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Giampieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 83 minutes on the clock, Alessio Bertini commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portofino AFC! Vaneze's Alberigo Iacovella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Malinconico in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Portofino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Angelici. Alessandro Ranalli might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinando Giampieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Ranalli ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
