Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo De Bartolo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Guidoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donato Bruno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Guidoni having to interfere. Davide Cordone hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dennis Guidoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Bruno, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dennis Guidoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Bruno in the 28th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Edoardo Barchiesi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Frank Labate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wellstreet United's Edoardo Barchiesi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Labate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Piccirilli in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ennio Piccirilli was the one to do the kick off. If Alberigo De Bartolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Wellstreet United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Bozzelli to maneuver through the defense. Alberigo De Bartolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ennio Piccirilli in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Labate saved San Peretto AFC from getting behind. Donato Bruno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Bruno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dennis Guidoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Edoardo Barchiesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Labate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Felice Prato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Peretto AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wellstreet United the free kick. Felice Prato kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberigo De Bartolo got free with Dennis Guidoni in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edoardo Barchiesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
