Davide Goffredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cast Anselmo's Alvise Del Bello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Carozza in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pulp fiction FC's zone, Emilio Coscia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arrigo Ciaccia came out of the goal and Emilio Coscia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Emilio Coscia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cast Anselmo fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Cast Anselmo's Demetrio Pocobello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Pocobello in the 88th minute of play forced Pulp fiction FC's goalkeeper Arrigo Ciaccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
