The tension between the Isolotto AFC and the Citadinaza players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Isolotto AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Attilio De Felice hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Florian Corvasce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isolotto AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Citadinaza the free kick. The supporters of Citadinaza booed when Isolotto AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Corvasce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Citadinaza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Iannotti to maneuver through the defense. Damiano Briano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Schiacciacasse in the 15th minute of play. Florian Corvasce might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Briano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Corvasce ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Bruno Melchiorre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Antonello Trinca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isolotto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonello Trinca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Isolotto AFC booed when Citadinaza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Borel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beppe Schiacciacasse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Florian Corvasce succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. The audience was convinced that Florian Corvasce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damiano Briano was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Corvasce in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Briano saved Citadinaza from getting behind. After the first half Isolotto AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Corvasce to make the kick off. Damiano Briano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Corvasce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Isolotto AFC's Angelo Simeoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Colelli in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Florian Corvasce kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damiano Briano. That made the score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Damiano Briano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Corvasce in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Florian Corvasce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damiano Briano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Bruno Melchiorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Briano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Trinca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonello Trinca in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Briano saved Citadinaza from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florian Corvasce in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano Briano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Florian Corvasce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Trinca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Briano having to interfere. Aldo Capobianco struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Angelo Simeoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Citadinaza. After 95 played minutes Isolotto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Ranalli. When the final whistle sounded Isolotto AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Citadinaza.
