Ercole Di Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Di Francesco in the 10th minute of play. Fabio Di Francesco scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Di Falco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Demetrio Ciapponi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandolossa's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Ciapponi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesare Macchione breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ercole Di Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Di Francesco in the 30th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Mandolossa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Luciano to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Di Francesco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mandolossa's Ercole Di Falco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mandolossa from getting a goal against them. Ercole Di Falco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes PRO LIDO got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Tocci. Fabio Di Francesco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercole Di Falco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Demetrio Ciapponi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Nazzaro during the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Dino Totaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesare Macchione skillfully saved the ball. PRO LIDO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandolossa the free kick. In the 86th minute Eugenio Dionisi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Di Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Nazzaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ercole Di Falco having to make a save. Mandolossa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Fabio Di Francesco scored to the left of an out of position Ercole Di Falco, making the score, 0-3. Davide Cipolla hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
