The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alessio Burgnich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Emirates Vignate getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bruno De Lorenzi hit a great ball. Angelo Cellucci came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Emirates Vignate's Bruno De Lorenzi. But to his dismay, Bruno De Lorenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alessandro Barberio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Demetrio Rizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Pugliese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Cellucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Cavallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fedele Di Salvatore was the one to do the kick off. Demetrio Rizzo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Angelo Cellucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Di Salvatore in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Petrignone's Alessandro Barberio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes Attilio Cavallo rounded Petrignone's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Alessio Burgnich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Angelo Cellucci made a huge save. Davide Maiorano hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Petrignone's Angelo Cellucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Petrignone from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Petrignone's goalkeeper Angelo Cellucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Burgnich. In the 83rd minute, Attilio Cavallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelo Cellucci. The goal made the score 0-6. The supporters of Emirates Vignate booed when Petrignone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Hedman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Cellucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessio Burgnich in the 87th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Fedele Di Salvatore took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Angelo Cellucci to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute Attilio Cavallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Cellucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Burgnich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Cellucci having to interfere. Emirates Vignate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
