A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Real Vescovio's Florian Nardone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Donadoni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Solaro's Alvise Penna got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Conti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvise Penna's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Alvise Penna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Solaro got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Penna. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attilio Lucchetti in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Donadoni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armin Sacchetti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Federico Conti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute Alvise Penna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvise Penna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Vescovio's Attilio Lucchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Marcantonio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvise Penna made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Amerigo Biagetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Vescovio and the Solaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Amerigo Biagetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armin Sacchetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Conti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Vescovio! Federico Conti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Rossetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 59 played minutes Real Vescovio got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Pazienza. Alvise Penna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Conti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Sacchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Alvise Penna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Conti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Sacchetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Conti having to make a save. Federico Conti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Sacchetti in the 78th minute of play. Federico Conti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Penna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Conti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Penna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Armin Sacchetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Real Vescovio got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Magliocco. Real Vescovio's Federico Conti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Penna in the 99th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Solaro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
