Ciccio Ascani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Miccoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Breccia AFC's Ennio Miccoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciccio Ascani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rupinpiccolo's Andrea De Angelis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Ennio Miccoli notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rupinpiccolo's Ciccio Ascani. Ciccio Ascani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlo Ferrara made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Andrea De Angelis sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camillo Grimaldi during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Dave Mastrangelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Breccia AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edoardo Scarano hit a great ball. Andrea De Angelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlo Ferrara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Mastrangelo in the 89th minute of play forced Breccia AFC's goalkeeper Carlo Ferrara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rupinpiccolo booed when Breccia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Briganti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes, Alfonso Gulli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breccia AFC and the Rupinpiccolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, one of Breccia AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Breccia AFC. The Breccia AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rupinpiccolo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
