After a rather tough play, TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's Alberto Galeone got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, San Nicola's Beppe Savoia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eraldo Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Giandomenico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Giandomenico came free, but Eraldo Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Prandini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Marchegiani having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's zone, Fulvio Giandomenico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo Grande came out of the goal and Fulvio Giandomenico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Barillari to maneuver through the defense. Fulvio Giandomenico struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Eraldo Grande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Nicola. Eraldo Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Giandomenico in the 31st minute of play. After 38 played minutes San Nicola got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Savoia. When San Nicola's Edoardo Citrullo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's goalie prevented a goal. Amos Marchegiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Prandini in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulvio Giandomenico to make the kick off. Amos Marchegiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Prandini in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Edoardo Citrullo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eraldo Grande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amos Marchegiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Prandini's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Eraldo Grande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Citrullo went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 71 minutes into the match, San Nicola's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Prandini came free, but Amos Marchegiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciccio Della Francesca's late challenge caught a TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciccio Della Francesca helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 81 minutes, Edoardo Citrullo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Nicola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Citrullo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO booed when San Nicola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Della Francesca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Nicola's zone, Augusto Braccia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Marchegiani came out of the goal and Augusto Braccia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alberto Galeone fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO's protests and gave Alberto Galeone a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Nicola booed when TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Galeone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eraldo Grande made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Edoardo Citrullo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of San Nicola booed when TEAM PENATI&MOURINHO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Faieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulvio Giandomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eraldo Grande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Nicola had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
