Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Donato Pellicciotta kicked off to start the match. Armin Ferraresi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Blaithmeic Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrado Staniscia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaithmeic Harkin having to interfere. Fausto Loreto made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cesare Domina immediately put the ball in play. Blaithmeic Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Ferraresi in the 12th minute of play. The throw-in from Eugenio Palmisano in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Candia's Cristiano Walcher. 17 minutes into the match, Candia's Cristiano Walcher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kang Jun Jie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Corrado Staniscia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaithmeic Harkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Donato Pellicciotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kang Jun Jie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Candia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cristiano Walcher hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Demetrio Astolfi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kang Jun Jie. The goal made the score 1-1. Candia's Ettore Lozzi pulled a muscle in his leg after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Lazzaro during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campocroce's Alfonso Lazzaro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Demetrio Astolfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Ferraresi to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Armin Ferraresi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blaithmeic Harkin. Candia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armin Ferraresi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Donato Pellicciotta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Blaithmeic Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Ferraresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Armin Ferraresi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaithmeic Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corrado Staniscia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Blaithmeic Harkin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Blaithmeic Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Ferraresi in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Alfonso Lazzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campocroce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Lazzaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armin Ferraresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaithmeic Harkin having to interfere. Blaithmeic Harkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corrado Staniscia went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Blaithmeic Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Ferraresi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Campocroce were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Candia side.
