A collision led to Garbatella AF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ciro Iachini hit a great ball. Alvise Boninsegna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Guarisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Beppe Vianello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campagna Lupia's Diego Rocco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ermanno Pizzi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Garbatella AF fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Campagna Lupia booed when Garbatella AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Cirelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Campagna Lupia were victorious despite being under pressure from Garbatella AF for much of the match.
