Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Ceresoli took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuele Pio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Son Portier. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Murta's Son Portier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Barducci in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Murta's Son Portier got control of the ball when Emanuele Pio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Daniele Cesaroni made a precise shot to the right of Son Portier. Murta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Murta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Caccia to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Sciarborasca's Alexander Scoca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Son Portier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuele Pio in the 29th minute. Armin Albertini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto Bonelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Daniele Cesaroni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Son Portier. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulvio Varglien made a kick off. Son Portier came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sciarborasca's Emanuele Pio. But to his dismay, Emanuele Pio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Barducci in the 56th minute of play forced Murta's goalkeeper Son Portier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Son Portier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Varglien in the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Murta got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Caccia. Son Portier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Pio in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Ernesto Bonelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Bonelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sciarborasca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murta the free kick. Son Portier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Murta booed when Sciarborasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Munno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Son Portier came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sciarborasca's Daniele Cesaroni. But to his dismay, Daniele Cesaroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 81st minute, Daniele Cesaroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Son Portier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Barducci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Pasin struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Armin Albertini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murta. Beppe Munno hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Murta's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Pio came free, but Son Portier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Sciarborasca's Fulvio Varglien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Son Portier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Sciarborasca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
