Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) 3 minutes into the game, Carlo Loiacono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alvaro Lizzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marengo AFC's Emiliano Ragazzoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Bartolucci in the 8th minute of play. If Anthony Ceccon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Ceccon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Ragazzoni having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Carlo Loiacono managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marengo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Loiacono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Anthony Ceccon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabiano Bartolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Bartolucci in the 31st minute of play forced Marengo AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Ragazzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Vespucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Marengo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Rondinelli. In the 40th minute Anthony Ceccon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Ragazzoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anfilogino Franceschi came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Marengo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Franceschi couldn't finish the play. After 44 minutes, Cesare Bartolucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trimons FC and the Marengo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano Bartolucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Lizzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Vespucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes of play, Marengo AFC's Cosimo Vespucci made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Lizzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Carlo Loiacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marengo AFC's Emiliano Ragazzoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Bartolucci in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Marengo AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Carlo Loiacono hit a great ball. Felice Ramundo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Cosimo Vespucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alvaro Lizzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Marengo AFC booed when Trimons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Bartolucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Loiacono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Lizzi having to interfere. Marengo AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
