Donato Ferraresi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Corrado Rondinelli made a huge save. Antonio Grilli kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The RealSandrino F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when RealSandrino F.C.'s Enzo Nanni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enzo Nanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Enzo Nanni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casal Delle Palme FC's Carmine Zangari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of RealSandrino F.C. booed when Casal Delle Palme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Ragazzoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Grilli charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Grilli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille De Carolis in the 26th minute of play forced Casal Delle Palme FC's goalkeeper Carmine Zangari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camillo Di Luca hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37th play minutes Enzo Nanni shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Carmine Zangari and just under the crossbar into goal. After 40 played minutes RealSandrino F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Profeta. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Nanni made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Enzo Nanni made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Casal Delle Palme FC's Carmine Zangari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francesco Ragazzoni kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Enzo Nanni struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Carmine Zangari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RealSandrino F.C.. The referee ignored RealSandrino F.C.'s protests and gave Armin Leopardi a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in RealSandrino F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Corrado Rondinelli went to the wrong direction when Antonio Grilli was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Carmine Zangari was a little too slow when Enzo Nanni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-5. Carmine Zangari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Nanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Claudio Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmine Zangari having to interfere. Florian Strano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Enzo Nanni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmine Zangari was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After having played for 90 minutes, Enzo Nanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RealSandrino F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Nanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmine Zangari made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fausto Profeta sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Casal Delle Palme FC's Fausto Pasqualone got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Camillo Di Luca might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmine Zangari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. RealSandrino F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
