Concetto Castrucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Salerno in the 7th minute of play. Augusto Del Pizzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Cusumano having to interfere. Fortunato Tuzzolino kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Dave Trasatti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Passirana AFC and the Mantelle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Passirana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dave Trasatti. Enrico Flammini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Cusumano having to interfere. Anfilogino Catini struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Concetto Castrucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passirana AFC. The supporters of Passirana AFC booed when Mantelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Di Cesare didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carter Pietropaolo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Del Pizzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Cusumano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Del Pizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Flammini might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Cusumano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrico Flammini ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Del Pizzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Cusumano having to make a save. 41 minutes into the game, Fedele Castellani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mantelle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passirana AFC the free kick. Fedele Castellani hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Passirana AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrico Flammini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fortunato Tuzzolino hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute Augusto Del Pizzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Cusumano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Del Pizzo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Mantelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco De Cristofaro to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Castrucci was a little too slow when Diego Salerno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. 61 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Catini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Concetto Castrucci. Anfilogino Catini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Dave Trasatti was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Dave Trasatti kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Del Pizzo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Cusumano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes Passirana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carter Pietropaolo. Carter Pietropaolo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fausto Tabacco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Concetto Castrucci. Mantelle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Passirana AFC's Fabio Cusumano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Del Pizzo in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Enrico Flammini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Cusumano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Del Pizzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Del Pizzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fabio Cusumano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Mantelle's Enrico Flammini made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Cusumano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Augusto Del Pizzo put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Cusumano. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
