Tony Telfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comunardo Marsili in the 3rd minute of the match. Comunardo Marsili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Telfer having to interfere. The supporters of Marcellise booed when Nova Milanese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso De Amicis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nova Milanese FC's Alfonso De Amicis got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Marcellise's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Fantini came free, but Anselmo Bani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Marcellise got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Gambini. Anselmo Bani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Fantini in the 18th minute of play. Biagio Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Bani having to interfere. Comunardo Marsili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tony Telfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrea Borel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Andrea Borel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Milanese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea Borel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Nova Milanese FC booed when Marcellise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Gambini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Bani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Fantini in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Anselmo Bani made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Biagio Fantini sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Marcellise defense, Andrea Borel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Bani. The Marcellise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Bani should have stopped the shot. Marcellise's Anselmo Bani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Marcellise from getting a goal against them. If Biagio Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Bani made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Anthony Carnevale sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Biagio Fantini took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Anselmo Bani to make any attempt to save it. Nova Milanese FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
