Comunardo Tullio's late challenge caught a Pozzi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Team Special One's zone, Anfilogino Di Lullo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Di Mascio came out of the goal and Anfilogino Di Lullo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Team Special One's Ennio Antonacci in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pozzi AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anfilogino Di Lullo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pozzi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anfilogino Di Lullo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Di Mascio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pozzi AFC's Anfilogino Di Lullo got a free kick in the 41st minute.
