Legnano's Alexander Cera managed to work through Vezzano Ligure's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alexander Cera dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alexander Cera sped through Vezzano Ligure's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabrizio Arcari. If Alexander Cera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabrizio Arcari came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Legnano's Camillo Lepre. But to his dismay, Camillo Lepre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fabrizio Arcari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Lepre in the 40th minute of play. Fabrizio Arcari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Cera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarías Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Legnano's Zacarías Bermudez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vezzano Ligure's zone, Eugenio Paglione stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrizio Arcari came out of the goal and Eugenio Paglione tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Paglione to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Arcari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexander Cera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. After 55 minutes, Anfilogino Muto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vezzano Ligure and the Legnano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Vezzano Ligure got a freekick which was hit by Anfilogino Muto. Demetrio Vulcano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alexander Cera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Ceras short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Fabrizio Arcari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Legnano getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Eugenio Paglione hit a great ball. Anfilogino Lizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Orlandi in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Vezzano Ligure's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexander Cera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
