A collision led to Club dei Poeti getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Comunardo Renzetti hit a great ball. Ernesto Schirone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Capobianco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Pasquarelli having to interfere. If Ciccio Pelliccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club dei Poeti getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alvise Brunelli hit a great ball. Alfonso Capobianco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ernesto Pasquarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club dei Poeti. In the 43rd minute Flavio Pani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Pasquarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfonso Capobianco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Tedeschi made a kick off. Angelo Felice hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cristiano Tedeschi managed to get in a good position for a shot. He walked away shaking his head. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club dei Poeti's goalkeeper Fulvio Volta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Milano certosa fc fully deserved thier win.
