The supporters of Saddam Fc booed when Materazzinter F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damiano Mazzetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Attilio Caiola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuele Bozzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Attilio Caiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Bozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Daniele Scurti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Materazzinter F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Scurti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Flavio De Luca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Bozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Materazzinter F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Scurti to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ernesto Liaci in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saddam Fc's Carter Di Lorenzo. When Carter Di Lorenzo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Saddam Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Di Lorenzo couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Catena in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Materazzinter F.C.'s Daniele Scurti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Caiola in the 39th minute of play forced Materazzinter F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Bozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Attilio Caiola in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Bozzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Emanuele Bozzo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Carter Di Lorenzo sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Attilio Caiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Bozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Materazzinter F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Colaneri to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Materazzinter F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Caiola came free, but Emanuele Bozzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Attilio Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Di Lorenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emanuele Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Materazzinter F.C.'s zone, Attilio Caiola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Bozzo came out of the goal and Attilio Caiola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Attilio Caiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Materazzinter F.C.'s Emanuele Bozzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Attilio Caiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Caiola in the 89th minute of play forced Materazzinter F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuele Bozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Bozzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Caiola in the 92nd minute of play. Carter Di Lorenzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Carter Di Lorenzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
