Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniele Aceto made the kick off which started today's match. With an all-out effort, Acquaviva AFC's Davide Aureli threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniele Aceto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniele Aceto in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Aureli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alvise Di Girolamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Di Girolamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Davide Aureli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Corrado Baldassarre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davide Aureli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Augusto Volta. In the 22nd match minute, Garbatella AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Rallo to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Palomba charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Palomba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Acquaviva AFC! After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AFC's zone, Edmondo Pani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Aureli came out of the goal and Edmondo Pani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anfilogino Cinalli took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pietrini. Angelo Pietrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Anfilogino Cinalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniele Stragapede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvise Di Girolamo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Aureli having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ettore Petrocchi made a kick off. Alvise Di Girolamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davide Aureli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Di Girolamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniele Aceto came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Acquaviva AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Aceto couldn't finish the play. Garbatella AFC's Davide Aureli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Di Girolamo in the 59th minute of play. Anfilogino Cinalli took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pietrini. Angelo Pietrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 66th minute, Alvise Di Girolamo made a precise shot to the right of Davide Aureli. Garbatella AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Garbatella AFC's zone, Daniele Aceto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Aureli came out of the goal and Daniele Aceto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Paganelli kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Cristiano Rallo, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 84th minute, Cesare Presutti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Acquaviva AFC's Augusto Volta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alvise Di Girolamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniele Stragapede's late challenge caught a Garbatella AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Stragapede helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garbatella AFC booed when Acquaviva AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Stragapede didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Acquaviva AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
