Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malo's Alfredo Chitarroni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Malo booed when Summonte AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Pizziolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Alfredo Chitarroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Lupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Carlini having to interfere. Comunardo Carlini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Gregorio in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Summonte AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Pizziolo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alfredo Chitarroni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Chitarroni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Lupi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessio Dianas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Comunardo Carlini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 24th minute Alfredo Chitarroni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Lupi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Achille Di Gregorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Carlini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comunardo Carlini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Di Gregorio in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Achille Di Gregorio in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Comunardo Carlini saved Malo from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Achille Di Gregorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Achille Di Gregorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Achille Di Gregorio sped through Malo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Comunardo Carlini. Comunardo Carlini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Achille Di Gregorio in the 58th minute of the match. Summonte AFC's Achille Di Gregorio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Malo got a freekick which was hit by Elia Reali. Comunardo Carlini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achille Di Gregorio in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Alfredo Chitarroni fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Summonte AFC's Carlo Lupi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Chitarroni in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alessio Diana managed to get in a good position for a shot.
