Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfredo Chitarroni took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alfredo Chitarroni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Chitarroni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Di Sante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Di Sante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Chitarroni in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Calderino FC booed when Malo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Reali didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Alfredo Chitarroni notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calderino FC's Alvaro Di Sante. Alvaro Di Sante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ettore Capuozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alvaro Di Sante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Baldassarre hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Malo's zone, Emilio Baldassarre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comunardo Carlini came out of the goal and Emilio Baldassarre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Malo got a freekick which was hit by Elia Reali. In the 25th minute Ettore Capuozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Di Sante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Di Sante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Chitarroni in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achille Campese in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Di Sante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malo's attack was well implemented in the 34th minute, but when Ettore Capuozzi was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Alfredo Chitarroni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Di Sante having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Calderino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Capuozzi came free, but Alvaro Di Sante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Di Sante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Chitarroni in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Capuozzi in the 45th minute of play forced Calderino FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Di Sante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Leggeri to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ettore Capuozzi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alvaro Di Sante. In the 56th minute, Cristoforo Montini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristoforo Montini fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malo's protests and gave Cristoforo Montini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Malo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristoforo Montini hit a great ball. After a long run with the ball, Cesare Ianni did a trick in the 61st minute in front of Malo's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by Calderino FC's Cesare Ianni! Alfredo Chitarroni might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Di Sante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Chitarroni ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Di Sante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Chitarroni in the 69th minute of play. Alvaro Di Sante was a little too slow when Ettore Capuozzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Ettore Capuozzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alvaro Di Sante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Malo's Alfredo Chitarroni in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calderino FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Ettore Capuozzi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Malo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Capuozzi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Alfredo Chitarroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Chitarroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Calderino FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Emilio Leggeri hit a great ball. Malo's Ettore Capuozzi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Achille Campese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Malo played a much better game than Calderino FC and deserved their victory. The Calderino FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
