If Frank Bizzarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Navacchio's Andrea Cabrini got control of the ball when Enrico Bottega tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Lion Irie F.C. booed when Navacchio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Perilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Andrea Cabrini throw himself and got hold of the ball when Davide Mangione in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Andrea Cabrini came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Lion Irie F.C.'s Ercole Furino. But to his dismay, Ercole Furino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Enrico Bottega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Di Piazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andrea Cabrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lion Irie F.C.'s Andrea Cabrini threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dario Di Piazza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Di Piazza in the 43rd minute of play forced Navacchio's goalkeeper Andrea Cabrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 55 minutes, Davide Mangione managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lion Irie F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Mangione was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Carlo Fabri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Dario Di Piazza made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Cabrini. Navacchio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Andrea Cabrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Di Piazza in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Navacchio's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Di Piazza came free, but Andrea Cabrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Dario Di Piazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Cabrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Cabrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Bottega in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Dario Di Piazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navacchio's Andrea Cabrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuele Visintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lion Irie F.C. had played much better football throughout.
