But to his dismay, Carter Mazzone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to U.S. BITONTO CALCIO getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fabiano Loreto hit a great ball. Alfredo Carozza hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Fausto Tellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Pardini having to interfere. When Fausto Tellini came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Garofolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Tellini couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, U.S. BITONTO CALCIO's Angelo Ciarrocchi got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 33 played minutes Garofolo got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Ippoliti. It was beautiful to see U.S. BITONTO CALCIO's Emilio Grilli in action when he in the 34th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to U.S. BITONTO CALCIO getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Christian Guerrieri hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Garofolo's Demetrio De Leonardis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Davide Pardini. Davide Pardini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 45th match minute, U.S. BITONTO CALCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Migliorati to maneuver through the defense. Demetrio De Leonardis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Pardini having to interfere. U.S. BITONTO CALCIO's Davide Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio De Leonardis in the 49th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Fausto Tellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Pardini having to interfere. Christian Guerrieri hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Demetrio De Leonardis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Davide Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the U.S. BITONTO CALCIO defense, Demetrio De Leonardis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davide Pardini. The U.S. BITONTO CALCIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davide Pardini should have stopped the shot. Garofolo's Fausto Tellini got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Corrado Ferrini charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corrado Ferrini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Garofolo got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Ferrini. In the 78th minute, one of U.S. BITONTO CALCIO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U.S. BITONTO CALCIO. Beppe De Marchi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demetrio De Leonardis in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Pardini saved U.S. BITONTO CALCIO from getting behind. When Garofolo's Demetrio De Leonardis in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.S. BITONTO CALCIO's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Tellini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Pardini having to interfere. Davide Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Garofolo had played much better football throughout.
